My path to the insurance field was atypical. I worked for a few years after high school, returned to school as a non-traditional student, and graduated from Penn State - Capital College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Then, I spent 20 years in the private sector as an Engineer. Along the way, I discovered that I enjoyed working with people and being able to provide a solution to a problem. Additionally, spending the last 8 years of my engineering career in warranty and service reminded me that valuing and taking care of a customer is important. I bring the experience of working with people to provide a solution that is focused on the needs of the customer.
When I am not working, I like to be outside, hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing or hunting. I recently completed building a 17-foot center console boat and look forward to using it for more time outdoors. I chose to become a self-employed professional so that I could spend time closer to home and be able to participate in and support my local community. I am proud to represent companies that are recognized not only as industry leaders, but more importantly, companies which have focus on serving their customers as a core value.
