I grew up in the area, attended local schools, played little league baseball and midget football along with enjoying the local fishing scene.  I am also a local musician and frequently perform around town at the various events.  I started my insurance career in 1979 and for the last 21 years I have worked for a large brand name captive insurance company.  I decided to join the Goosehead family after visiting the corporate office and meeting all the knowledgeable management staff.  I have always tried to take care of my customer’s needs.  With the Goosehead portfolio of companies we now have the capability of designing a plan for each insurance situation for our customers.  My son, D.J. Kirkland, joined my team 3 years ago as a producer.  He is very excited to have the Goosehead portfolio of companies to help his clients.  We are members of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and enjoy our relationship with them.  We are here for our clients.  We look forward to working with you.
