Mark E. Jones

Mark E. Jones

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Jones is a co-founder of the company and has served as Chief Executive Officer since inception, in 2003. Under his leadership, Goosehead has grown to be counted among the largest and fastest growing personal lines insurance agencies in the country. Prior to joining the company, he was a Senior Partner and Director of Bain & Company, the global management consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he worked in the audit and mergers and acquisitions practice groups for Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (finance, accounting and economics) from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Robyn Jones

Vice Chairman

Ms. Jones is the founder of Goosehead and serves as our Vice Chairman. She actively manages all office design and construction activities in addition to a number of corporate functions. She is a licensed property and casualty and life insurance in over 40 states. She has worked in the insurance industry since founding the company in 2003.

Michael C. Colby

Michael C. Colby

President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Colby joined TWG Insurance in 2006, was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and served in that role from 2010 to 2014. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Goosehead Insurance in 2011 and then promoted to President and COO of Goosehead in 2016. Mr. Colby has led the franchise operations of the company since 2011, leading Goosehead’s exponential growth and expansion into several states. Earlier in his career, Mr. Colby worked with KPMG in their audit practice. He holds a B.B.A in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Colby joined TWG Insurance in 2012 and was promoted to Controller of Goosehead Insurance in 2014, to Vice President - Finance in 2015, and Chief Financial Officer in 2016.  He is responsible for M&A execution and integration, monthly reporting, and payroll/401(k) administration. Prior to joining TWG Insurance full-time, Mr. Colby worked in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services and Audit service lines. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ryan Langston

Ryan Langston

Vice President and General Counsel

Mr. Langston joined Goosehead Insurance in 2014 as Vice President and General Counsel. He is responsible for coordinating and leading legal activity and marketing. Prior to joining Goosehead, Mr. Langston was a trial lawyer with Strasburger & Price, LLP where he represented businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and arbitration involving business dissolutions, theft of trade secrets, enforcement of noncompetition agreements, and breach of contracts. As a litigator, Mr. Langston earned several awards including Strasburger & Price’s Associate of the Year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.

Michael Moxley

Michael Moxley

Vice President of Service Delivery

Mr. Moxley serves as the Vice President of Service Delivery for Goosehead Insurance. He joined the company from Transcom Global, an international BPO company, where he was Director of Service Delivery for North America, having oversight for a service operations team spanning four service centers and two countries. Prior to Transcom, Mr. Moxley worked with Alorica, another global BPO firm, where he was a key contributor to their expansion strategy, growing operations to over 3,000 agents in five centers. Earlier in his career Mr. Moxley spent more than 10 years leading various sales and service teams for AT&T. Mr. Moxley has over 13 years of experience in scaling service operations and driving client satisfaction.

Megan Bailey

Director - Business Development

Ms. Bailey serves as the Director of Franchise Sales for Goosehead Insurance. She joined Goosehead in 2011 to launch the franchise division of the firm. Goosehead has since grown to over 250 franchise locations in under 5 years and plans to have over 1000 franchise locations across the U.S. by 2020. She has over 15 years of sales and management experience including retail, advertising, and software. Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Megan graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications and an Entrepreneurial Certificate from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business. 

Matthew Colby

Director - Agency Sales

Mr. Colby is a Co-Founder of Goosehead Insurance’s Houston Office and currently serves as Goosehead’s Director of Agency Sales. He began his professional career at Charles Schwab as a 401(k) Associate in their Plan Conversions Department. He joined TWG Insurance in Dallas as an Account Executive in 2007, and was promoted to Manager in 2008. In 2009, Mr. Colby moved to Houston to open Goosehead’s first satellite office. He was promoted to Partner and Director in 2011. Prior to working at Goosehead, Mr. Colby obtained a Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M University where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration.

Gary Delavan

Director - Corporate Sales

Mr. Delavan joined TWG Insurance as an Account Executive in 2005, became a Sales Manager in 2007 and was promoted to Partner and Director in 2010.  As Corporate Sales Director, Mr. Delavan leads the strategic growth and development of Goosehead’s high octane Corporate Sales teams located in Irving, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and Chicago (opening 2017).  In his 12 years at Goosehead, Mr. Delavan has been involved in many aspects of the business, including recruiting top talent, training & development of that talent, geographic expansion and supporting Goosehead’s network of franchise owners.  As a third generation Longhorn, Mr. Delavan attended the University of Texas where he graduated Cum Laude with a Major in Finance and minor in Accounting.

Director - Recruiting

Ms. Jordan joined TWG Insurance as an Account Executive in 2010. In 2011, Julia launched the company’s marketing department and played a key role in the development of the Goosehead brand. She was then promoted to Recruiting Manager in 2014, where she continues to oversee all recruitment efforts for the Goosehead Corporate Team. In 2016, Julia became a Partner and Director of Goosehead Insurance. Julia graduated from Texas A&M University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Mays Business School.

Jared Sinclair

Office Head - Houston

Mr. Sinclair joined the Goosehead family as an Account Executive in 2013 and now manages Goosehead’s corporate office in Houston. He became a member of Goosehead’s President’s Club in 2014 due to outstanding sales performance and service. Since its founding in 2009, the Goosehead Houston Office has built a strong brand as a preferred vendor to leaders in the Greater Houston Area’s real estate and mortgage industry. Before joining Goosehead Insurance, Mr. Sinclair attended Texas A&M University and earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Mays Business School.

Mitchell Stella

Office Head - Austin

Mr. Stella is a co-founder of Goosehead Insurance’s Austin corporate office.  He joined Goosehead in 2010 as an Account Executive in the Dallas Office.  He then moved to the Houston office in 2011 and was promoted to manager in 2013.  He became the Office Head of the Austin corporate office in 2014 and has been living in Austin ever since.  Mr. Stella obtained a Bachelor of Arts at Texas A&M University where he majored in Marketing with a minor in Psychology.  During his time in school, he was involved in student government and safe-ride organizations geared towards preventing deaths related to drinking and driving.

Office Head - Fort Worth

Kai’ Perkins is a founding member of Goosehead’s Fort Worth office, a Senior Account Executive, Sales Manager, and member of the President’s Club. Kai’ earned her M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management at the University of Phoenix and earned a Bachelor of Science at Sam Houston State University. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her children, and volunteering for different organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Susan G Komen.

Office Head - Henderson

Ms. Bibbs is an Arkansas native who joined the Goosehead family in 2012 as a service agent. Shana specializes in retention and providing our clients with an effortless experience which earned her a promotion to Service Manager in August 2014. She is now focused on recruiting top talent as the Office Head of the west coast service center located in Henderson, Nevada. Ms. Bibbs attended Arkansas State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication Disorders. Shana has a passion for developing her team members and maintaining lasting professional relationships.
